Applying a Temu code takes under a minute once you know where the field lives. The catch: it sits in a slightly different place on the app versus the website, and some codes don’t use the field at all.
On the Temu app
- Add your items to the cart and tap the checkout button.
- On the order screen, look for a line such as “Apply coupon code” or “Promo code” — usually near the price summary, sometimes folded under the payment section.
- Paste the code and tap Apply.
- Check the order total: a successful code shows as a deduction line before you pay. If nothing changed, the code didn’t apply — don’t assume it worked.
On temu.com (desktop or mobile browser)
- Open your cart and proceed to checkout.
- The coupon field typically appears in the order summary column, near your subtotal.
- Paste the code, click Apply, and confirm the discount line appears in the total.
Codes that skip the field entirely
Some promotions — especially coupon bundles and free-gift offers — are credited to your account rather than typed at checkout. For these, the code is entered once (often via a promotion screen or link in the app), and the vouchers then apply automatically as qualifying orders come through. If a “bundle” code seems to do nothing at checkout, check your app’s coupon section — it may already be sitting there.
Before you pay
The one habit that saves money: always confirm the discount line exists in the final total before tapping pay. If the code was rejected, our guide to why Temu codes fail covers the seven usual causes.
