Many retailers verify students, service members or seniors and give them a standing discount. People reasonably expect Temu to do the same and search for it. As far as we can find, Temu does not run an ID-verified student, military or senior discount programme. We have not seen one in the app or on the website, and it is not listed in Temu’s help pages. Pages promising a “Temu student code” are usually recycling ordinary promo codes under a new label.
Why these searches still turn up codes
Coupon sites build pages for every phrase people type, and “student” or “military” gets attached to a general code that anyone can use. That is not a scam in itself, since the code may well work, but it is not a group discount. If a page asks you to verify your student status through an unfamiliar form, or asks for an ID upload in return for a Temu code, close it. Temu has no such process, so the form is collecting your data for someone else.
What works just as well for these groups
The discounts Temu does run are open to everyone, so a student or a retiree gets the same deals as anyone else. A new account gets the strongest offers, usually a first-order code or a coupon bundle. Existing accounts get vouchers in the coupon section of the app, plus flash sales and lightning deals. For a tight budget, the most reliable approach is to combine a first-order code with sale-priced items and keep the cart just above any minimum spend.
Codes we have tested at a real checkout, open to any eligible account:

If you are shopping from a base overseas
Service members ordering to an APO, FPO or overseas address should check Temu’s shipping page for their location before relying on any code. Codes are regional, so a US code may not apply when the delivery country changes, and some addresses cannot be shipped to at all.
FAQ
Does Temu have a student discount through UNiDAYS or Student Beans?
We have not found a Temu listing on either platform. If one appears it will be on the platform itself, not on a third-party coupon page, so check there directly.
Is there a Temu discount for seniors?
Not a dedicated one that we know of. Seniors can use the same first-order codes, bundles and app vouchers as any other shopper.
